The advantage comes from the early/mid-game ability to take down any zone with just a raider axe 3 and shield due to passive hp regen, 2 stuns and critical block which is huge against humanoid enemies. What is the point of shields and this class at all? But it still dealt like 70% of your HP as damage. ![]() I still have 0 idea how shields work in this game and what shield "value" means 22 or 45 whats difference? It blocks flat damage or % of damage? How much it blocks? No info whatsoever. This is because most if not all critical attacks (except from super low level enemies, which you can just facetank without shield anyways) deals HUGE damage. ![]() I mean, it only makes your char continue "holding" the block if critical hits you. The best thing about this class - blocking criticals. Originally posted by ScienceDiscoverer:I just tried Sentinel out. Guardians are quite literally useless because of this, as the AI clearly detects when you are blocking and uses their critical attacks to counter you. So why did they put the ability to block critical attacks on the support class. Great way to divide tanking (lets ignore the fact you cant actually tank where it matters, which is in boss fights, since you cant aggro any of their attacks). Video Huey Games Shows Off Footage of Hyper Sentinel on Nintendo Switch. The thing that annoys me is that we have two clear tanks, Guardians are the best Shield/HP tanks and focus on themselves and Sentinels are the best Support tanks providing buffs/stuns for the team. Tribes of Midgard Season 3 brings game to Xbox and Nintendo Switch Saga Boss. So devs, why is it only sentinel can block criticals? Seems kinda silly don't ya think? Shouldn't it be "Blocks more efficiently"? So meaning less durability lost or something? The other classes being punished for trying to block an attack they don't know they can't block is kinda silly. Like wow, stopping a werewolve's jump mid air is fantastic lol. Increased armor on a block to you and allies, stun on block, shield throw, more damage to stunned, passive regeneration.
